Marine City Medical College (MCMC), Chattogram successfully organized a seminar on “Objective Structured Clinical/Practical Examination (OSCE/OSPE): Principles of Construction” on Thursday, 11 June 2026 at 08:30 AM in the Conference Hall.
The seminar was organized by the Centre for Medical Education (CME) of Marine City Medical College with the aim of enhancing knowledge and skills in developing effective clinical and practical assessment methods in medical education. The event brought together faculty members and doctors of MCMC for an enriching academic discussion.

Prof. Dr. Dilruba Siraji, Professor & Head, Department of Physiology, MCMC, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the principles of constructing Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE) and Objective Structured Practical Examinations (OSPE). The session focused on assessment design, station development, evaluation criteria, and best practices for ensuring reliability and validity in medical examinations.

Prof. Dr. Md. Yunus Haroon Chowdhury, Professor & Head, Department of Surgery, MCMC, chaired the seminar and shared valuable insights regarding the importance of structured assessment methods in improving the quality of medical education.
