The Anesthesia Department at Marine City Medical provides comprehensive training and services, with a team consisting of two professors, one associate professor, one assistant professor, an assistant registrar, and a medical officer, about 20 OT staffs. The department is equipped with three operation theatres and is capable of performing a wide range of surgeries, including some specialized surgeries such as Wertheim’s Hysterectomy, ACPR and PCPR , Partial gastrectomy ,Gastro jejunostomy, Roux – en -Y gastro jejunostomy. Students and internees are placed in the Anesthesia Department for basic training, where they receive hands-on teaching and experience in the field. This Department is also recognised center for BCPS offering FCPS part 2 Training. The Department regularly presents their activities, case presentation, and journal to MCMCH Forum.
