Our team consists of highly experienced gynaecologists, obstetricians and dedicated Educationists committed to improving students teaching and learning processes and also dedicated to Women’s health. Our motto is to nurture and produce highly skilled world class efficient doctors.
Academic and Training Activities
At MCMCH, we prioritize continuous learning and professional development.
For Students:
- Lecture classes: Held daily to enhance theoretical understanding according to Academic Calendar.
- Tutorial classes are held for all students & assessment exams are conducted to evaluate them.
- Word classes: Clinical sessions conducted to expose students to patient care in a clinical setting both morning and evening time.
- Block placement: For 5th year students to gain hands on experience to recap the previous knowledge for exams.
For Medical Officers
Presence 24/7 for emergency duties. Key activities include:
Morning session: Our Department conducts two morning academic sessions every week, led by our senior experts. These sessions focus on:
- Case reviews.
- Treatment planning and evidence-based approaches.
- Hands-on guidance for interns and medical officers.
- They participate in journal club presentations and weekly central morning sessions.
- Clinical Practice Opportunity:
- Conducting Normal Vaginal Deliveries.
- Performing minor surgeries.
- Assisting in major surgical procedures under expert supervision.
- BCPS Training: One year training program accredited for BCPS certification.
Outpatient Services
Our outpatient services are designed to provide convenient, high-quality care, including:
- Antenatal Care
- Postnatal Care:
- Routine gynaecological examinations and VIA test.
- Management of all gynaecological problems like Infection, Malignancy, Tumor etc
- Menstrual disorder management;
- Contraceptive counselling and procedures.
- Preconception counselling for family planning.
- Menopause management.
Maternity Care and Deliveries.
We pride ourselves on offering comprehensive maternity care 24/7, including:
- Normal Vaginal Delivery (NVD)
- Caesarean Section.
- Management of all high risk cases, e.g. – Eclampsia, APH and any other post natal complications.
