Forensic Medicine

Academic Program in Short:
COURSE PROGRAM:
Lecture Classes: According to the Lecture Schedule.
Tutorial & Practical Classes: Students are to attend tutorial and practical classes as per class routine. They are to complete the items examination regularly and thus complete the cards.

Autopsy: Students are to attend Autopsy classes in the CMC Morgue. (Minimum 10 classes, 20 hours). Integrated Teaching-17 Hours (2nd phase). Generic topics-3, Court visit, thana visit, and OCC visit-one day each. Mandatory. Integrated Teachings as per schedule combined with Pharmacology department.
Generic topics -attendance
Clinical presentation & seminars: In the Tutorial classes of 3rd Year. MBBS.
Class Attendance-At least 75%
Complete Item Examinations in the Tutorial & practical classes.
Complete & Submit the Autopsy and practical book. Assignment from
Integrated teaching.
Appear & pass all the Assessment Examinations. With 60% marks.
Eligible to appear the 2nd Professional MBBS Examination in December- 2025.
Mark distribution: Total: 300, Formative 10, MCQ-20, SAQ-70,
Structured Oral-100, Practical-100.
Pass marks – 60% in each, theoretical, oral & practical, Hons: 80%.
